Claire Murdoch Bio

Claire began her studies in Secondary Education and Art's, while she maintained a passion for Education she moved on to fulfil more creative endeavours. One year at Brighton Bay Art Design & Photography program and she knew that she wanted to put her love for art, design and materials to a practical application.

After graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture (Hon's) Claire spent a number of years working in Architecture and Design. During this time a wide range of skills were developed; 2D & 3D visualisation, Brief development, Sketch Design, Design Development, Documentation & Post Occupancy Evaluation. In particular she developed a skill for selection and specification of materials, finishes and furniture with a focus on layering of colours, textures and materials.

Now working at Byzantine Design, Claire enjoys the opportunity to work closely with Individuals, Designers & Architects in the selection of beautiful materials to bring their ideas to life.
